On this occasion, the Bachelor of Information Systems study program Universitas Airlangga received a visit from the Delegation of the Department of Industrial and Information Management, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan which was held on Tuesday, 21 November 2023 at 09.00 – 11.00 WIB. This activity was carried out in the MIPA S3 Meeting Room, Floor 2 (R. 201) Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Airlangga. The delegation from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan was Prof. Pete Hui-Chia Wang and Prof. Will Wei-Tsong Wang.
This event opened with remarks from Prof. Fatma, a representative from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Airlangga University. Then, continued with remarks by Prof. Pete Hui-Chia Wang. After welcoming remarks from both parties, as a symbol of the implementation of this activity, there was a souvenir handover session from Airlangga University and National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan.
The main event starts with sharing session from NCKU. Starting from an introduction to the background of lecturers in the Department of Industrial and Information Management at NCKU, delivery of courses & scholarships, introduction to the reputation, culture and environment around the campus, plus video profiles, to participant Q&A sessions. At the end of the event there was a direct scholarship recipient selection interview by a professor from NCKU. This interview was attended by 3 alumni of Airlangga University Information Systems undergraduate students who were interested in continuing their studies there. Then continued with the closing session and documentation.
