Community Service
Community Service (PkM) is one part of the Tridharma (teaching, research, and community service). It is hoped that community service activities can be a means of supporting Indonesia to become an independent nation if carried out with the right targets.
Community Service Theme
The theme of the RIPkM Information Systems Undergraduate Study Program for the next five (5) year period (2021-2026) is “Use of information technology for society in the fields of education, MSMEs, tourism and government”
Objective
The aim of community service is to utilize information technology to create an independent and technology-oriented society in a sustainable manner (sustainable development).
Target
The targets of community service activities are:
- MSME actors in coastal and marine areas
- MSME actors in tourism areas
- Government and educational institutions
Program
In achieving the goals and objectives above, the main strategies used are:
- A superior community service program so that service members produce community service products that are useful for society and government.
- Increase in the number and quality of community service and scientific publications resulting from community service at regional and national levels.
- Increasing the role of academics in PkM.
Activity
Community Service Activities in the Undergraduate Information Systems Study Program is a synergy between the academic community and the community and government based on the scientific competence of the academic community in the Undergraduate Information Systems Study Program. Service activities include:
- Socialization/counseling
- Accompaniment
- Education and training
- Mentoring
Performance Measurement
In order to measure the implementation and effectiveness of the RIPkM Study Program, performance indicators are needed, both quantitative and qualitative, which include input, process, output and outcome aspects.
- Achievements regarding the quality of community service results, namely increasing the number of publications (both regional, national and international).
- The achievement regarding the relevance of service results is the increase in institutions collaborating in community service with the Bachelor of Information Systems Study Program.
- Achievements towards a culture of community service, namely increasing lecturer participation in quality community service.
Roadmap
Community service road map, including planned community service activities, as well as plans for the direction of community service in the future. The community service road map is a detailed implementation of the community service activity program to be achieved within a certain time period. Ideally, a community service roadmap will be very useful if it contains a detailed description of the activity plan, the time required for each activity, budget requirements and the activity implementer. The information systems undergraduate study program’s community service road map for the next 5 years can be seen in the image below.
